Geuss you dont make it to KC's enough.. Anyhow. I wanted to know if you plan to convert the nastrucks over to evo2 format and if you need any help. Or I'd like to do it and release them all in 1 pak. I estamate the pod ziped at max comp to be between 8 and 10 mb. Thats using the tires in there bin format and blank dirt files. so the trucks wont get dirty. but thats OK, I wont be doing dirty trucks anymore anyhow. I think the dirt is way over rated. and just a hasle to go in the garage to make the truck look good in the game

sorry leo, i missed your post, i dont have any plans to convert them to evo2, i only did the nascar ones coz i was bored and if filled a couple of hours. i have used them in evo2 and they work fine as they are, but if you want to do a proper job and make the textures into tif's, you are welcome. altho, credit for the mapping, wheels etc should still be given to bigdogge and myself, ok

I'll include the origanal readme.

I'll also have at least 16 of them done by 7 tonite. It sure would be cool to get you and some other's to beta test them online tonite. Oh about 9 ish. I retweeked the trks. And would like to know what some other's think of the tweeks before releasing them. Thay are alot of fun to drive. Thats what my tweeks are geard for is to make them fun to drive. Unlike the stock trucks lol. And not nessesarly for best lap times. But they are prity fast though. But not hacked. and not super grippy tires. To much grip makes them to hard to control if you know what I mean.

ICQ me so we can hook up 112819782

hmmm, i found your post, which u left on the evo2 forum, pretty useless there isnt it? the trucks were made for evo1, maybe a post there i would have seen, as i check that one daily.

as for the changes in the .trk, when i ran them offline in evo, using the evo1 .trk, they handled great, and were as almost as fast as the mt, a bit faster than the TB, but handled and turned a whole lot better, the only change i might have made, would have been the the final drive ratio, which was a bit high, and meant the trucks had to use a low gearing to get speed. altho, a slight increase in power over evo1 would have been a bad thing IMO, but nothing stupid

Got 16 of them done. Ill be uploading them to my server in a fue min.

As for the tweeks: The first thing i noticed when I ran them in evo2 was the tire grip was way to much. They were hard to control. evo1 & evo2 are different when it come to the tweeks. Evo1 defualt grip is 2.75 i think. and evo2 is 1.75. quite a dif there. Anyway if you have icq, add me and ill send you a link to download. Then you can check them out. I should be in evo2 multy around 9 ish

there was nothing at all wrong with the tire grip, by changing that, u will make the trucks as bad as the stock ones. these at least turn when u want them to, instead of ten minutes after like the stock ones. TRI reduced the tire grip, and ruined the game, dont make the same mistake with custom trucks, otherwise, u might as well use one of the crappy .trk files that are stock in evo2. i have a couple of the trucks installed in evo2, in evo1 format, and to be honest, they handle a heck of a lot better than the ones TRI suppllied.

LOL

You feel the same as I do. I hate the stock trucks. Dont even mount the stock truck pod anymore. I use my own. OK the tweeks are geard twords the abilty to keep speed in a turn and most importent of all POWER SIDE. I beleve I got the power slide the best that can be with the physics. Hmm if I figure out how to pim you here ill send you the link

Well I got some good compliments online last nite with the test truck. And my plan ws not to have any 1 person to DICTATE the tweek.

If that is the way it must be then the project is scrapt. Im sure I can find the nas truck game or art file myself and make a model to keep it going. AS for the original tweeks. most peeps will not except them

well, if you are gonna make a load of changes, which you never asked at first, then i dont want them changed to evo2, convertions means making them work in a different game, which i dont have a problem with, but you have just about realised the amount of work i did getting these done in the first place, so i dont particularly want the .trk file altered at ALL! if you cant accept this, then leave them alone and steal someone elses ideas, but stop posting your intentions and suggestions here and on vales, i have tough skin, and it dont bother me in the least.

racer, where abouts in all this were you asked your opinion on the original trucks? you are just an offroader dude, and couldnt make a model from scratch if your life depended on it, so dont diss me buddy!
