SLI.

I wonder how ATI will address this next challenge to the speed race.

Can you imagine two 6800 Ultra cards running SLI?

I can.

Can I afford it. No!

The thought makes me drool.

I wonder if they can develope the wide perspective view like Matrox did. There you are high res, high frame rates, 140 degree view, looking at Zond passing you again on the left with Dutch passing you on the right, then getting to watch them both drive off into the distance. It brings tears to my eyes. Not of joy either I add.

If I really really really dug hard enough I could give you scores for 3Dmark05 with 6800Ultras in SLI mode. Needless to say they were extremely high.

ATI is going to have to go with an SLI setup to keep up. The only other choice they would have is to make a dual gpu card with 512 memory and run it in a PCIe x16 slot and use all the bandwith. This really isn't that far out of the question either, AMD and Intel both have dual core cpus in dev/test right now that are being speculated on as a Q2'05 release.

Whenever i install these drivers for my GeForce the cars in NFS:U turn white and when i play NHL 2004 my players dont have no helmets pads etc i need to run v61.77 of the drivers. Can someone help me?

That may be Shock. From time to time I will have problems with a new driver and a game.

One thing you can try is boot to safe mode, un-install the Nvidia drivers then run Driver Cleaner 3 (available from Guru3D) after rebooting re-install the drivers and see if that corrects any problems you have. If not you may have to use the 61.77 drivers.
